Place names in Scotland are mainly straight descriptions of the land, with their roots in Celtic or Norse languages. J. R. R. Tolkein did something similar for the places in Middle Earth. Naturally I was curious to see what would the places be called, if the root language was Quenya instead of Celtic or Norse I'd first worked on it back in 2011/2012 but I've done a wee update since them, doing the places in Central Scotland... Most of the time was spent actually researching all the place names
